Philpot started off as an analyst and consultant at Deloitte, later launching Yolk in 2014 in a bid to shake up London’s lunchtime options. With eight profitable locations – and a ninth in fit-out – Yolk has ambitions both in the UK and internationally, and has become well known for its ciabatta sandwiches and lunch ‘hot pots’.
