Tony joined Greggs in 2012 and was later appointed head of retail in 2013. In 2022, he became property director, succeeding current chief executive, Roisin Currie. Prior to joining Greggs, Tony spent several years at Costa Coffee, as regional operations director. As property director, he is responsible for the strategic growth and development of the Greggs estate. The business currently operates 2,675 shops across the UK (as at 27 September 2025) and continues to see clear opportunities for significant expansion beyond 3,000 locations over the longer term.
